Regular physical activity is highly beneficial, and we encourage everyone to do so daily. However, if you are new to exercise, it is always a good idea to consult your physician before starting any exercise program to ensure that you're physically capable of participating in the exercises and are in good physical condition. Physical injury is always possible when engaging in any exercise or exercise program. At MotionalCORE, we offer a fast and straightforward questionnaire called the PAR-Q+ (Physical Activity Readiness Questionnaire) on our Health Forms page. This questionnaire can help you determine whether you need further advice from your doctor before increasing your physical activity. Everyone's physical abilities and limitations vary; not everyone may be comfortable in a group fitness setting. We offer modifications and alternate exercises to accommodate various conditions and limitations. If you require modifications or have concerns, we recommend arranging an online consultation with our expert instructor, Steven Gray. Together, we can assess whether Steven Gray's private instruction would benefit you.
About MotionalCORE
Join us on a journey of healthy self-discovery through movement! We are very proud of our synergy of techniques, as we believe fitness is for every age and every body type. Our passion is to guide our students toward a healthier lifestyle, recognizing that each body is unique, with its particular strengths and limitations. We aim to work with your body and challenge it without fighting it. We want you to leave your session revived, alive, stretched, strengthened, and feeling great.
We are all dancers; it is just a matter of finding your tempo, rhythm, and inner music and using this to explore the full range of your motion, from the deepest muscles of the body to the furthest reach your body will allow. At MontionalCORE, we believe in a "Just Dance Into It" philosophy that embraces the ever-changing nature of life with an awareness of the circumstances and elements of our environment. Rather than fighting against them, we strive to accept them and move with grace and insight into the next phase. Whether it's a personal or professional challenge, we always try to approach it with a positive mindset and a willingness to adapt. This philosophy has helped us navigate various ups and downs in life and can help anyone willing to embrace it.

Steven Gray -
L4 Essentrics Instructor
I'm Steven Gray. I focused on fitness in 2006 after being a former professional Modern Dancer. I've been dancing since I was five years old in Colorado and have loved every minute. During my time in New York, I had the opportunity to tour the world with The Nikolias Dance Theater, which was an incredible experience. As a fitness instructor, I initially focused on Gyrotonic, but recently, I fell in love with Essentrics and have completed their Level Four certification. I love Essentrics because it allows me to focus on stretching and strengthening my body without needing heavy weights. As I get older, I'm grateful for my dance training, as it has taught me that I only need my body and the exploration of Motion, Space, Time, and Shape to stay strong and flexible. With Essentrics, I can enjoy a workout similar to ballet without fancy steps, high-impact jumps, or extreme turnout. It's a scientifically structured full-body workout that is simple that anyone can do, even if it's their first time trying it out. The best part is that it's challenging enough that you can continue to benefit from it over time. The Essentrics program has helped me develop long and lean muscles with tensile strength that are also supple, just like a dancer's. That's why "Just Dance Into It" is the MotionalCORE tagline. I'm excited to show you how to explore stretch and strength through Motion, Space, Time, and Shape with Essentrics, and I look forward to you joining me on this journey. Paul Liberti -
Pilates Mat // Luigi Jazz Dance // Mindful Meditations & Affirmations
I'm Paul Liberti. Besides being a fitness professional for many years, I've had an exciting career as a Broadway actor/dancer and have had the pleasure of working with Jim Henson and the Muppets. These days, I'm involved in Voice Over as an actor, instructor, coach, and director. But my passion for fitness instruction has also taken me down some exciting paths. As a Pilates Educator, I've taught Pilates Mat Classes since 1994, after studying with Anthony Rabara in Princeton and certifying in NYC. For over 20 years, I've taught these classes at Equinox Fitness Clubs in NYC. I'm also a Dance Educator, having taught Jazz Dance classes since 1987, beginning at the Princeton Ballet. I led my signature Dance Fitness Classes at Equinox Fitness Clubs for years. I've been a guest teacher for the Dance Departments at many colleges and universities, including Hope College, Northwestern University, and Princeton University. Additionally, I'm a guide for Mindfulness and hosted an online group in 2020 to promote Mindfulness through meditations and affirmations inspired by the teachings of Louise Hay. We're now offering one of these sessions (free of charge) here at MotionalCORE by popular demand. I hope to bring more of these to this community soon!
